jungle red
Bossendorfer used three
different tones to achieve
this nuanced shade of red:
5RM (Blush of Barolo),
4XR (Treasure of Trieste)
and 6XR (Red-y for a
Renaissance). Katy Perry
inspired the hairstyle, which
is so consumer-friendly a
client could do it herself.
After creating two pigtails
and roughing up the texture,
Bossendorfer rolled them into
buns and pinned them up.
roll call
This fresh take on a 1940s
victory roll puts the emphasis
in the back instead of on top.
First, Bossendorfer applied
Volumizing Whip to add
soft, lightweight volume, and
Weightless Styling Gelee to
keep frizz at bay. To create a
faux bob-shape, she wrapped
the hair over and around a
doughtnut log at the nape of
the neck. Flexible Hairspray
kept everything in its place.
