First, she sectioned a diamond-shaped parting from the center front to the top of the parietal ridge on each side and back to the top of the head before applying a lightening mixture (Framesi DCB Diamond Lightener with 30-volume developer) in diagonal splice sections. "Designers like Michael Kors and Diane Von Furstenberg were showing a lot of bold blue shades for fall so I knew it was the hue everyone would be wearing," Vann says. "I've always added blue accents to my black shades. This time I changed it up and added a bit of black to the blue." Flash Lightening is a quick add-on service that makes the haircut pop.
