Her former cocolorist ("I use that term instead of assistant," Minardi says) and a core colorist on the Beth Minardi Signature Team has only been on the foor at Mark Garrison Salon in Manhattan for less than a year, but he's already showing great promise, going beyond the basics in a way that, according to Minardi, is "right-on and tasteful, a bit fashion-forward and awe inspiring." ➻ camilla hurrell g { WELLA} is a color instructor and the Assistant Principal at Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California. Traci Sakosits, Sassoon's North American Creative Director, calls her "dedicated, organized and detail-oriented," but allows that her expertise lies in the strength of her technique and the creativity used in color choices for each individual. "Color enhances a haircut and creates a complete look," Hurrell says. "It's an exciting part of the industry to be involved in." ➻ anthony coelloj { ARTEASECOLORS} splits his time between Te W Salon in Laguna Hills, California, and Strut, the salon he owns in Chandler, Arizona. After being discovered by arteasecolors, Coello began assisting company president Gerd Hoher at trade shows and events. "Right now I'm tweaking the ombre technique by incorporating vibrant colors into brunette shades," he says. So where does he see himself in five years? "Owning a school or a larger salon, putting out educational DVDs, those kinds of things." { OYA } loves everything about but she ➻ brittany ealey jbecause "it gives you a chancehair,reinvent especially loves color to your entire life." Ealey is not only in charge of education and training for all seven Colorifc Hair Color Salons in Illinois, but she is also the manager at three locations, including the one in Joliet where she works behind the chair most days.
