Aloxxi pioneered the concept of color
personalities, and our cover girl's is A Touch
of Tuscany. Here's how to get the look.
T
o create this dimensional beachy blonde shade with a heavy fringe
placement, Aloxxi Artistic Advisor Marilyn Cole used Aloxxi's brand-new
Dimensions Highlighting Colour and an edgy technique that showcases
dimension and contrast within shades. T e trick is to choose a range of
honey- or ash-blonde shades, then add face-framing highlights.

STEP BY STEP
1
Apply Aloxxi ColourPrime
Pre-Color Treatment to prime
and protect the hair for the
ultimate coloring experience.
It's free of sulfates, sodium
chloride and parabens, but it's
loaded with natural botanicals
and antioxidants.
2
Mix Formula A: Dimensions
.31 with 30-Volume Developer.
Mix Formula B: Dimensions
.0 with 30-Volume Developer.
Secure the top and crown.
Brick-lay random vertical
slices through the crest
line, applying Formula A to
the mid-lengths, and then
smudging into Formula B on
the ends.
3
Create a small triangle
over the right eye in the front
perimeter and place back-
to-back slices of Formula
B there. Smudge color at
the base to create softness.
To softly frame the face,
apply Formula B in the front
perimeter, using a balayage
technique.
4
Develop, then rinse
thoroughly and apply
ColourLock Post-Color
Finisher. Formulated with
natural botanical ingredients
that contain no parabens or
sulfates, it's designed to lock
in durability and shine.
5
Mix Formula C: TONES
Clear with 7-Volume Activator.
Use this formula as a glaze.
Develop, then rinse thoroughly
and apply ColourLock Post-
Color Finisher.
