Right now she's spreading the word about a book she wrote for beauty school grads called A Cosmo's Guide to the Industry. The transformative power of hair color continues to amaze me," says Alyssa, who cites Belinda Gambuzza as a role model. "She makes even the most complicated techniques look simple." ➻ franklin falkowski d { AVEDA } is a talented hair colorist at Gary Manuel Studios in Seattle, Washington. "Color in general has always fascinated me," says Franklin, who won an Editorial Choice Award in 2012 when he competed in a photo shoot competition at the salon. His mentor? Aveda Global Master Ana Karsis. "She has been very inspiring to me, not just for her amazing attitude but for her take-a-risk attitude that has helped me so much in my career," he says.
