Taking a cue from the
hot pastels trend, the
Peridot look from Kenra
Professional's new Jewel
collection, inspired by each
month's birthstone, features
accents created with Kenra's
new Creative Series semi-
permanent color in Pink,
Yellow, Teal and Violet.
"Inf uenced by the cuts of a
jewel, this collection offers
two recognizable placements
within the hair, the trillion and
the heart shape," says Kenra
Professional Senior Artistic
Director Robb Dubré.

GABBIE BYRD showed such promise after graduating from the Aveda Institute in St. Petersburg,
FL, in 2013 that Albie Mulcahy hired her on the spot to work in his St. Petersburg salon, VLVT. T e
talented colorist dreams of one day becoming a platform artist and educator or even opening a salon,
but fi rst, she wants to focus on building her book. "I'm still new so I'm taking baby steps," Byrd says.
Her current color obsession? "I'm loving working with vivid colors from Pravana," she says.
