"The salon doubled in size with the move and grew from eight to 20 stations," says owner George Gonzalez, who opened the f rst location in 2008. "The space was designed specif cally for the comfort and privacy of our discerning clientele." Gonzalez has been a stylist for the past 22 years, working on such notable projects as styling hair for The Oprah Winfrey Show's makeover segments and for Rosie O'Donnell on The Rosie Show. George the Salon offers cutting, styling and skincare services, along with a variety of color services that evolve with the trends. "Our Flamboyage service uses special Meche strips designed exclusively for Davines colorists that produce a unique natural highlighting affect," Gonzalez says.
