Subdivide the square section into four diagonal partings. 2 Create visible deep and shallow weaves within each of these diagonal partings, alternating formulas B and C. 3 For the remainder of the head, switch to vertical-type partings, approximately 1½–2 inches wide, and weave similarly in these sections. Apply formula B to some and alternate the others with formula C. 4 All hair left out of these partings should be colored from base to ends with formula A surrounding. 5 Once the lightener has processed and has lifted to a level 8, tone some of these pieces with formula D and leave some of them highlighted to the level 8 alone. 1 2 3...
