inside story
When she opened Craft Salon
& Style Bar in 2009, native
Texan Cara Crafton drew on
her experiences traveling the
world, working in high-prof le
salons in San Francisco and
Houston and backstage at
fashion week in New York
City and owning a prior
salon. "Craft Salon & Style
Bar is the true culmination
of my vision," Crafton says.
Education is an ongoing
pursuit at the salon, which
helps ensure the stylists are
always able to satisfy their
trend-savvy clients' wishes
for in-demand color services
including blonding, balayage,
fashion colors, gray coverage
and color correction. "Many
clients call us because they
come across our images on
Instagram and Facebook and
like the color work they see."
Our top priority is making our clients
look and feel great," Crafton says.
"When you have a team that works
well together, we all win.
