In 2011, she opened The Harlot in Venice, CA, with the goal of fi nding a new outlet for her creativity and surrounding herself with like-minded beauty pros. To ensure her stylists stay at the top of their game, Koken holds classes every Monday focusing on cutting, color, styling and new trends. Koken says that 75 percent of clients receive color services. "Our color services are unique to every client," she says. "We specialize in customizing each trend for the individual and making a look all their own."
