Other gold winners were Sardis Airapsetian from Russia (New Talent) and Larissa Bresnahan from Australia (Creative). During the event, Goldwell also released their latest fashion-inspired trend collection In•Flux (see one of the looks at left), created by last year's Color Zoom Challenge winners and the Global Zoom Master Team of Rodica Hristu from Canada and Sascha Haseloff from Germany, which focuses on fl uidity in both cutting and color. WELLA INTERNATIONAL TRENDVISION AWARDS 2016 At the Wella International TrendVision Awards 2016, held in November in Barcelona, 1,400 hairdressers from around the world gathered to witness this year's competition and celebrate the winners. In the Color Vision category, Ireland's Darren Lacken won platinum, while Italy's Manuel Sunda took platinum in the Creative Vision category. During the event, Wella revealed two collections highlighting key trends for 2017. For spring/summer, Wella Global Creative Artist from Russia Dmitry Vinokurov created Ultra Contouring, showcasing enhanced dimension and optical illusions with expressive shapes in hair that are matched to facial features, while autumn/winter's New Norm, produced by Wella Global Creative Artist from the Netherlands Hester Wernert-Rijn, combined rediscovered old techniques with the latest innovative products and services. This year, Wella also recognized salon industry icon Robert Lobetta with a Lifetime Achievement Award. "The level of creativity and artistry showcased this year was truly breathtaking, showing just how important this program is for nurturing talent," said Sylvie Moreau, president, Wella and Coty Professional Beauty.
