" is product is great for anybody who wants amazing conditioning, and to prevent their hair color from washing out and fading," says Andrew Bartfi eld, Celeb Luxury vice president and general manager. "It's especially important for people who have overlightened, stressed, dry, damaged or fragile hair." According to Bartfi eld, Colorditioner relies on three key components that make it eff ective. BondFix technology is formulated to rebuild, regenerate and repair disulfi de bonds, as well as hydrogen and ionic bonds, in eff ect strengthening strands. e Bondurance complex is designed to make hair hydrophobic, similar to virgin hair; improve manageability; make hair easier to comb; and deeply condition hair for up to fi ve washes. Finally, the product includes well-blended colorants that deposit color during the conditioning process. Like other Celeb Luxury products, Colorditioner can be used in diff erent ways. "It has the ability to morph into the color product the hairdresser wants it to be," Bartfi eld says. Stylists can apply Colorditioner at the sink for two to fi ve minutes to tone hair, or apply it on clean, dry hair that has been lightened (white to palest blonde), processing for 20 minutes, for a long- wearing, semipermanent color. In the near future, the company also plans to launch a BondFix conditioner with no color in it. Founded in 2013 by industry icon Leland, Celeb Luxury aims to do more than just create innovative products; the company is on a mission to stop diversion with its recently launched mixing program. "Colorbrain Colorwash e Mix and Colorditioner e Mix bottles give the hairdresser the ability to custom formulate a Colorwash or Colorditioner for their clients," Bartfi eld explains. "Since Colorbrain can only be created by the hairdresser, clients have to return to the salon to repurchase the product, stopping diversion. Colorbrain creates salon and brand loyalty because clients can't buy diverted product at a store or discounted online." 46 The Colorist | SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2017 | thecoloristma Below: New Celeb Luxury Viral Hybrid Colorditioner with BondFix comes in 10 shades.
